About the Organisers

JLU School of Law – The JLU School of Law fosters comprehensive legal education to a diverse and talented body of students. The students are exposed to new ideas, international perspectives, and innovative teaching in an encouraging and open academic environment. JLU provides both UG [BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB (Hons.),LLB] and PG [LLM(Corporate and Intellectual Property Law), LLM(Cyber Law and Cyber Security), LLM(Criminal Law and Criminal Justice), LLM (Taxation Law )] programmes.


Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in Punjab, thereby fulfilling the need for a Centre of Excellence in legal education in the modern era of globalization and liberalization. The University acquired approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI) in July 2006. The University also got registered with the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

About the Conference

Centre foe Spots and Entertainment Law, Policy and Research [CSELPR], JLU School of Law [JLU, Bhopal] in collaboration with RGNLU, Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution is organising International Conference in Virtual mode on ‘Regulation of Sports and Entertainment Law’. Sports Law is one of the few areas which is still in development phase. CSELPR along with JLU is focusing on research and provide legal assistance with respect to issues in existing laws and policies in India related to sports as profession as well as commercial activities.

Theme of the Conference –

  • Theme 1 – Sports and Intellectual Property Laws
  • Theme 2 – Legal and Ethical issues in Sports Law
  • Theme 3 – Broadcasting in Sports and Entertainment Industry
  • Theme 4 – Sports and Allied Legal Issues.

Note – The above- mentioned themes are not exhaustive in nature. Authors may choose any topic relevant to the Conference.

Call for Papers – Submissions are invited from legal and Inter- disciplinary academicians, practitioners, consultants, Doctoral students, research scholars from within and outside India.

Important Dates –

  • Submission of Abstract – 30th June
  • Acceptance of Abstract – 5th July
  • Submission of Manuscript – 25th July
  • International Conference – 1st August
